How would it feel to walk in a disappearing fairy-tale garden that only darkness can reveal?
Ephemeral Garden invites you into a poetic fairy-tale world as evening falls. When darkness reveals the towering light sculptures, everyone’s dreamlike imagination is set free.
The work consists of several magical, air-filled light sculptures that resemble colourful plants in a forest or garden, creating a dreamlike installation. You can immerse yourself in the fairy-tale world of the work or view it from a distance. As you walk past the light sculptures, their size and the darkness of the surroundings create a world of their own around you.
Paradedesign is a French creative agency founded by artist Ghislaine Coudert in 1999. Paradedesign’s work combines the interaction between design and cultural heritage. This artistic work is characterised by experimentation and site-specificity, offering a new way of interpreting the environments in which the works are displayed. Courdert’s light installations reflect her interest in the nature and use of flexible and air-filled materials. Paradedesign has created numerous light installations for various international light art events.
