Path of Light 4–7 December 2025
The Path of Light is a large-scale light art event organized annually by the City of Turku, consisting of spectacular light installations and a rich accompanying programme. The event was organised for the fifth time in 2025.

The Light Installations
The route of the Path of Light goes from the Cathedral to the harbour through twelve light installations.
Accompanying Programme
The Path of Light offers not only light installation art, but a wide array of accompanying programme during every evening of the event.

Food and Drinks
There are about 50 local restaurants and cafés taking part in the Path of Light! Many restaurants offer the event visitors special deals and accompanying programme.
Light Morning Sunday 7 December at 8–10 am
Good news for everyone, who is an early bird! For the first time you can admire the Path of Light in the morning. What is more, you can also pop in for a morning coffee or a Path-of-Light brunch at a restaurant.
Lightfest Run Friday 5 December
During the lightest sports event of the year you can run or walk a c. 7 kilometre long route past all of the Path of Light installations. Participants, who wear the lightest (i.e. brightest) clothes get a prize!
